Dandys is a family business now carried on by the two sons of the original John Dandy. Gloucester people providing a local service at reasonable costs. If one's car blows a lamp, telephone on the way and it will be replaced almost as one arrives at the garage. Other emergencies are dealt with in the same manner if at all possible. Work is specified and delivered on time, at estimate. If one requires advice about any aspect of one's car, what winter tyres are best for one's car for example, it is given freely whether one then buys the tyre and fitting from Dandys or not. If always being busy with a full forecourt of cars being serviced, having MOTs, or accessories fitted, is any guide to excellent service at a reasonable cost, then Dandys meets and merits this description. I am a customer of some years standing taking three vehicles regularly for their services and MOTs. I have no other financial association with Dandys and I have not been requested to make this recommendation. If you live in Gloucester or nearby, you would be pressed to find a better and more reliable garage.
