Just had my Infiniti FX go through a MOT at different garage they commented very poor rust underneath for a 9 year old car(58k car) Took to JFE on 11/12/20 to be met by the most condescending,and arrogant man from service department...I asked if they can look at car to see if it is bad as said.JFE said will do but will charge me £144 to look at 1 hour labour,they are doing me a favour as they could charge me £200 to look at thanks but no thanks won’t deal with garage with a take it or leave it attitude and outwardly rude Think very carefully before using JFE as their customer service ranked as zero...Bye the way was looking at purchasing a new Nissan Juke from them,will be excercising my logic and purchasing a different car and manafacturer

My car was booked in for an MOT, large service and my car being six years old, I decided that the cam belt should be changed. I drive a Nissan Qashqai 1.5 Deisel. At lunch time on a Friday ( four days before it was due at the garage) I had an extreme breakdown of my exhaust close to the engine. My recovery provider towed me to a national company who specialise in exhausts. On the ramp, they looked, scratched their heads and could do nothing. I live in Torquay and it was now 2.0 pm. I telephoned JFE of Exeter and they said if I could get the car to them, they would look after me. My break down provider got me to JFE at 4.0 pm. They looked at the exhaust and determined in 10 minutes as to the problem. The part was ordered there and then for delivery on Saturday morning. They then said, that they would bring the service etc forward and do the work on Monday/Tuesday and would lend me a courtesy car. I would add, that I had contacted three independent garages for prices for the above work and JFE being a Nissan franchised dealer came out cheaper than all of them. Normally a franchised dealer is very expensive. When I collected my car, it had been washed and valeted and I was given membership to the RAC for one year (full cover) free of charge and the invoice was totalled to the penny on the price I was given at the outset Brilliant service and all the staff were of the highest standard.
