Inchcape Volkswagen Telford

A friend of mine asked if I knew of anywhere good to get his car serviced. I said I went past Inchcape the other day and they had a banner that stated" Car Service Any Make, Any Model £130"..he , like me felt this to be a good price. He booked it in and we dropped it off. later we came to pick it up and the price was £260 ish!!..when asked why it was so much and not £130..they said it did not include parts!....in the minutest of print it did state " plus parts"...very, very misleading and I felt terrible that I had recommended them!. To top it all of, they also stated to him that he needed new discs and pads as well as some other bits and pieces...we picked it up and took a look at them and they seemed fine....we later took it to an MOT examiner who found all the brakes to be in good shape. Since his car went in for servicing, Inchcape have phoned him 2-3 times a month to get additional work on his car ( the brakes that did not need doing). He has asked several times not to be contacted any longer but they still phone. Overall, I am very disappointed with their service; during and after sale.
