Apart from the complaint above , I was perfectly happy with this garage and would have awarded it 10 out of 10 if not for this. I have always kept my service book up to date , the problem with not stamping it makes me wonder why !!!!! Other garages have and it hasn’t always been the Nissan dealer that stamp it . Why are they not putting their name next to the work that has been supposedly done !!!! When I inquired why , I was told by the receptionist, we don’t stamp maintenance record books for vehicles that are booked through .....Book My Garage !!!

A bad experience overall when purchasing my new Golf from this dealer. Was pressured to buy the usual gap insurance, paint / interior protection by multiple sales staff during purchase, repeated attempts to sell PCP / finance after clearly stating cash transaction. Poor after sales support with warranty claim after wheel corrosion on four wheels within 12 months of purchase. Took vehicle to lookers in Northallerton who where more helpful with warranty claim. Some of the staff are nice but would not recommend overall.

Sold me a Das Welt auto (used Golf Gt). They promised a like for like swap after numerous problems (I kept the emails if anyone would like to see). Some are listed below. The top mounts and shock absorbers failed at less than 20000 miles, turbo failed at 28000 miles (bill for over £1200), fuel flap jammed stuck on no less than 3 occasions and the body work had corrosion. I owned the car for two years, they said they would help me find a replacement. I got Volkswagen UK involved who said they would help, in the end I gave up waiting.

Had to take my 2007 Mk 5 Golf in for a diagnostic check after the ESP warning came on continuously. The reception was extremely pleasant and efficient and kept me in touch with progress throughout the day. They repaired the ESP/ABS fault under warranty and also changed the gearbox transmission oil under a VW recall and finally topped up the engine oil FOC ! The car was returned valeted and with a visual inspection note advising blown rear number plate light, front brake pads 70% worn and all tyres in good order. The whole experience was impressively professional and convinced me to return for the regular servicing in future.
