Zero wasn’t an option Zero wasn’t an option. My car has been in for a simple repair under warranty since July 6th (130 days). The cat has only done 15000 miles. Constantly being told they are doing things but they never happen. Last week got a message saying “the tests will be carried out today”. I ring a week later and they still haven’t been done. Service manager constantly says he will ring me but never does. Full of lies and empty promises. I must have been in 4/5 times to collect the vehicle when I’ve been told it’s ready and it’s still been in pieces. Very keen to blame Vauxhall and their technical department as they’re always “awaiting instruction on what to do next”. Never fills you with confidence when the service manager himself says “I would never buy a Vauxhall myself”. Awful service and I still haven’t got my car back!!

car in limp mode asking for them to see if i needed a computer upgrade but said i need a security code which cost £21 on top of the £80 plus pound they wanted because a rac print out of fault codes and the one my mechanic had done a week prior which he spent most of the day trying to find the problem and they basically did the same thing he did rest codes so fault went away for couple of weeks then when we went into lockdown had another appointment in which i turned up and they said they cancelGood Points

Absolutely appalling service. Paid a deposit for a car that we seen online that was at the Portmouth Evan Halshaw to have a phone call 3 days later to say that car had been sold even though a member of staff checked it was available when we paid the deposit! Such bad customer service!!

The Evans Halshaw check list for servicing / MOT / repair clearly reads. 1) Forget to order necessary parts 2) Next order wrong parts 3) Tell customer car is ready for collection before parts have even arrived 4) Prepare quote which is totally wrong 5) Always promise to phone customer back, but never do 6) Present bill which is twice what it should have been 7) Blame everyone else 8) Never apologise 9) Return car in unclean state Sadly the star rating system does not have a minus
