Dawson Engineering (Burley) Ltd, Burley Hampshire

I recently had the mishap of hitting what I thought was a puddle in Burley Hampshire which turned out to be a hidden pothole. When after a short distance I was able to stop safely. It was opposite the Dawson Engineering (Burley) Ltd. I had what I thought was a front flat tyre. As I am disabled and unable to change the wheel, I went to ask for help. This started what I consider to be the start of exceptional service by this company. When the wheel was removed it was found to have a large indent to the rim of the wheel. They fitted the space saver wheel for me and they offered then to drop off the wheel on their way home to have the dent hammered out which I would then pick up the following day. Having reached my destination I realised that the rear tyre had a slow puncture, with space saver spare fitted to the front I was now up the creek without a paddle. I rang them the following day and explained the predicament and was told that they would come to sort it out. the rear wheel also had a dent in the rim. They took the wheel away had the dent hammered out, a new tyre fitted and refitted the wheel. the whole episode involved several visits and all carried out in such awful weather. This help provided by Dawson Engineering saved our Golden Wedding week-end from being a disaster.
