I had 2 really good experiences of this garage last year so when my car started making a weird noise took it back here. The noise was the exhaust coming loose, but whilst doing a ‘full diagnostic/road test’ they also noticed a problem with the brakes, so recommended a full brake service, found a fault with the a brake cylinder and replaced that. There was a bit of confusion about when my car would be ready, including me phoning to ask, being told it was ready, then going to the garage to find it up in the air with no wheels! But I could see they were busy and within 30 mins it was done. The car needed its MOT, I booked it in for this the following week with a service, being told that they’d only service it if it passed its MOT. Called to ask if it had passed, to be told it had failed but was being serviced and they didn’t know what it had failed on. Called back to be told it had failed due to a brake pipe, and that they wouldn’t be able to fit it in to fix it until the next week. So unfortunately not very happy- somehow despite having a full diagnostic, brake service and brake cylinder replacement the brake pipe wasn’t noticed, and despite only wanting a service if the MOT was passed the service was done but the brake pipe couldn’t be fitted in till later so I was left without a car to drive for over a week in total. They also told me I could take the car home over the weekend even though its old MOT had run out and it had failed the new one. The car seems to be working fine but I think I’ll go somewhere else next time!

On the surface they appear friendly and to have your genuine interests at heart. However, each visit meant they found yet another 'problem' which urgently needed fixing. This pattern wasn't obvious immediately but by September last year, and another telephone call beginning, "we've also found....blah, blah" I'd had enough and let rip down the phone. Despite being the newest car I'd ever owned this had cost me an absolute fortune in problems discovered by Concorde. In all fairness I think they probably also took advantage of the fact that I was a woman. Apparently my complaint was passed on but I never heard anything. I will not go back there.

This was most likely worst customer service i have had in my life... First of all when i asked how long it would take to do the jobs i booked in i was told roughly 2 hours so i waited in the waiting room. Ended up waiting for 4.5 hours... No one tried coming up to me and explain what is happening only to find out later that their system has broke for last few hours and they cant print my receipts... So i left after being told that everything will be sent to my email once they can. Did not receive anything so i popped back in next day to see why have i not received anything but they just asked for the details and told it will be done in next 30 min. Guess what, nothing for next 5 days. After i left i started hearing my exhaust making a really loud metal noise after i looked under my car my exhaust was hanging really low and one of the clamps had just broke of... After i came back to fix the exhaust they told me that they knew this issue last time i was there and a few other issues like oil leaks but did not bothered telling me for those 4 hours i was sitting waiting there. Never again am i coming back there...

Avoid, avoid, avoid. Quoted me for a whole exhaust at £158 and when I got there tried to charge me £430 saying the original quote was only for a part. A scam which I declined and went to an honest garage. who fitted a WHOLE exhaust for the correct price of £170. Dreadful place, dreadful customer service. Head office ignored complaint, were rude, indifferent and supported the scam by 'reducing' the quote to £330!. Be warned. I have reported them to trading standards for various offences such as failing to explain terms and conditions and failure to refund monies owed.

Terrible service, I went to them as it was a cheap MOT price and have regretted it ever since. Quoted me for work that wasn't needed and greatly overcharged me for work that was needed. Also charged me in advance for a hire car that wasn't available and have still not received the refund for this. Just take your time to look at their reviews and you will see you really shouldn't go there!

I experienced very prompt courteous attention with my problem being diagnosed swiftly. Staff personnel friendly and professional. Time slots were promptly adhered to and the work was very thorough as underlying problems were exposed. Costs were thoroughly explained prior to work done and were very competitive . Overall I feel confident both in returning for a problem or service and also recommending to others.

NEVER take a car to Concorde! It's not just their incompetance, but the fact that they will bare faced lie and try to palm you off with lies. Customer service -100 My car went in for a simple change of the front suspension springs. First attempt it was nearly 4 inches higher than it should have been. Back in it went, free as it should have been and they balls it up again! Closer mind, 3 inches too high. The final time it went in again, with me telling them that there are at least 3 lengths of spring for that model and it's still too high. Despite my requesting a courtesy car (a legal requirement in the event of botched repairs) I was told on the day no car was available, the guy on the desk then proceeded to argue with me despite the face that its a legal reqirement! There were other customers present whilst this was going on. They now deny any responsibility as "we have fixed the car to Mercedes specification" Lies again. The service manager even told me "it will settle down after a while"--utter crap. I was then expecting the "they all do that mate" I am now in the evidence gathering phase (RAC or DEKRA report) before I can further the issue through Trading Standards and the Courts. I have given one star to each of the below as there are no minus or zero options.

Thought I'd try this place for the MOT on my 2003 Yaris, which I use for my daily 10 mile commute, as close to my work. MOT was only £20 when booked. MOT was completed in the time agreed and I was called in the same morning morning. The first thing I was told is that both front side lights had gone and needed replacing. All lights and indicators were checked and in working order the evening prior to the MOT. I told them this and they said at the time of test they didn't work. Fair enough and as it's small cost, I didn't think much more of it. After all the MOT was only 20 pounds anyway. They then told me that the emissions had failed, and that I needed a new Catalytic Converter fitting. They said this work normally costs £820, but they have negotiated with a supplier to get me a "fantastic price" of £799. They wanted me to give them the go ahead right away over the phone, and they could get the car in a condition to pass it's MOT on the same day. They seemed confused when I told them not to do any of this work, as the car isn't worth much more that £1500. This decision not to go ahead was again questioned when I went to collect the car the same morning. I asked for the quote to take away with me and was told that it was company policy to not to write down a quote. The same afternoon I took the car to two other garages who have said that they would charge around £210 for the Catalytic Converter (big difference to Concorde), but they also said they wouldn't want to charge me for that right away, as it could be a number of other minor things that have caused the emissions to fail (maybe sensor problem) by the small fraction which it failed by. I have no problem in the car failing, it's a 2003 Yaris with 69000 miles, and I would get the work done if needed, but the price quoted was so around £600 more than that of others. I have since asked Concorde about this, as they keep calling to check if I would go ahead. They told me that they only use the highest quality parts and that all they're mechanics are trained to a certain standard. The free MOT retest with Concorde is also only applicable if the car remains with them. It cannot be taken away and brought back for the retest. I'll just get the work done for £200 and the MOT done somewhere else. Although I'm losing £20 to Concorde, by starting the whole thing again and doing it elsewhere I save over £550. I don't see it as a waste of £20, as that £20 has given me the information not to use them ever again, and to pass on my experience to others.

Recently took my car to concorde for an mot, was advised that if i get my service done with them i get a 'free' mot. when i checked my car was overdue so i took advantage and crossed my fingers. The car went in and i got the dreaded call 'sorry its failed, it needs brakes' Not wanting to be charged more than neccesary for the extra work i rang round to compare their prices again (i have been caught out paying over the top for extras before) They were cheapest again :-) The bit i liked best was that they called to ask me about extra work before proceeding. All Passed and confident that my car is in top condition

My car was due its annual service and a colleague suggested I try these guys as I work nearby and it was convenient for me drop the car off in the morning. The guy I spoke to on the phone (Dan) was very polite and informed me that the rear pads would last until my next service but the front ones needed replacing which I thought was the case as they’d been squeaking. Pads were delivered in the afternoon and fitted, ready for me to collect same day. Overall, really nice clean garage and will be using them again and their late opening was also handy as it’s difficult for me to get time off work during the week. I see they've just got some new courtesy cars, shame they were not available last month, would have like to take one of the BMWs for the day :)
