I have been using this garage for 20 yrs and they used to be a honest family business. I visited in Nov 2019 and was told my suspension needed doing which would cost £400. I took my car to another garage only to be told it was fine!!!! That was 4 months ago now and my car has just passed its mot with no faults....so someone was lying!!!!

Our family has used this firm for a number of years, but not any longer. My wife went in for a new tyre. The fitter managed to break the locking wheel nut tool, my wife tells me they were using windy guns so thats not a surprise...they then blamed someone else overtightening them previously (always a good get out clause). They then proceeded to charge my wife 72 quid to remove all 4 locking locking nuts with one of those remover tools (a job that took all of 5 minutes). When she queried the cost they said they should have charged her £96 (thats some hourly rate...). I guess we should be grateful then? Then they tried to charge her 25 quid for 4 plain replacement wheel nuts (which I subsequently managed to get from a factors for a fiver). Luckily at this point she realised she was being taken for a ride and told them 'No way'. Fortunately for us they couldn't do the alignment because the person who is apparently qualified to do that was away (Lucky as their previous alignment job doesn't seem to have improved the rear wheel eating it's inner edge anyway). God only knows what they'd have tried to charge her for that. Anyway its the last time we use them. I hope it was worth it.

Honest, good value, friendly & very professional

Visited for 4 new tyres. They managed to jack the car up and bend a rear suspension trailing arm, then said it wasn't them "it must've been like it before you brought it here".

STAY AWAY!!! Of all the experiences I have had with customer service this is by far the worst of them all. What happened to me was quite unbelievable and remarkable. I initially visited this establishment after a friend said they did cheap tyres. I was a young and naive driver at the time and so took his word for it. After the tyres were fitted fine, this company said my front right wheel bearing was very worn and needed replacing. They said I would need to return and get this fixed before my MOT as it would fail. I agreed to take it back there which was the worst mistake I ever made. After waiting in the shop whilst they fixed it, as I lived a fair distance away, I waited a good number of hours just for them to tell me they had fitted a larger, rear bearing which they were sent and fitted without checking. They explained they could not even get the old bearing back on to give the car back to me the same day. This was the day before my birthday and I was shocked. I had to demand a lift home which they didn't offer and lost the use of my car for 2 days after this with no compensation or a replacement vehicle due to their mistake. To top it all off and confirm they are a company full of con artists and liars, I asked them to top up my brake fluid which they said they did and was on the receipt, as my Renault kept beeping when I went around a corner and checked on Renault forums what this was. The beeping still occurred after I got my car back. I took it to a Renault garage the next day and they topped up the brake fluid and the beeping had gone. They said it wasn't topped up at all. The hostility of the staff was despicable, there were no apologies and this company is just another of the many out there making money off of vulnerable everyday folk to make a profit and con you. I advise you to stay away. Peace

Very good service due to friendly owners and staff and great value tyres. Even swapped my winters around at no cost. Have used for the past few years for both of our tyres. Very quick fitting as they often use four guys on one car! They even make you a nice mug of tea or coffee while you wait. Recommended.
