Burton Motor Workshop, Burton-on-Trent

I would highly recommend Burton Motor Workshop. My Toyota Landcruiser is 22 years old, so not the easiest of cars to work on. Burton Motor Workshop's mechanics know what they are talking about and do a great job. The customer service from the reception staff is always efficient and friendly. I always feel that they give me an honest opinion of work that needs to be carried out at reasonable prices.

Arranged to pick up my car at 7:30am, didn’t turn up till 9:00am without any communication to myself that they had changed the time saying they thought I knew. Wanted my car back by 4:30pm as needed to get my kids to different things, car arrived back after 6:30pm, saying they had no knowledge it was to be back earlier, I told them several times. Car was booked in for a service, came back with an MOT, no communication to me, never mind it’s booked into elsewhere for an MOT next week. Plus seems a bit dodgy they do the service and MOT and it barely passes, surely a service would make sure it would easily pass an MOT, but was told I need to book it in again for repairs, mmmmm. I won’t be booking it in here.

If all the Dealers are like this one, we are on a lost world... I contacted them through Autotrader asking for a negotiable price on a BMW GS700, they quickly tried to contact me through the phone but I wasn't able to pick the call, then they replied to me (email conversation) on the person of Jeremy with "what what do you have on mind" and soon as I made my offer, he came back to me with their counter offer, which I accepted as fair for my budget. I requested just few more information and extra detailed photos because the Autotrader advertising was very old (before the summer was posted and still there), after their consent on the person of Julie which confirmed the future contact from Jeremy, I also said I was organising myself to pick the bike up to their location as I had to travel from Bristol. This afternoon I simply received an email stating this "Hi Patrick Whilst I was out this morning one of my guys sold the f700. Good luck with your search I hope you find what you are looking for . All the best" They didn't even have the decency to sign the email. That's one of the most unprofessional behaviour I've ever seen, this basically mean they have a sale agreement with someone and in the meanwhile if another offer comes in, they take it with no hesitation, like they are in a action. I would never recommend to deal with those guys, because I will be highly disappointed. I'm happy to provide any email exchange on support of my review, upon any request. Patrick Pepe

Julie and her team of mechanics have serviced and looked after my car for a number of years. They are very efficient and friendly. They give very precise detail of what needs work on your car along with the cost. I would trust them implicitly.

I have used this garage for over 10 years for all my servicing and repairs.. I have received superb service from all members of staff. They specialise in Mercedes and BMW and cover all vehicles. Currently they are servicing for MOT a 1904 Daimler which is a local advertising interest for the National Brewery Museum.in Burton. All my work has been fairly priced and expertly carried out. Great bunch of people..
