Bicester Ford

Our car was purchased new from this garage, when the buying experience was good. There was an issue with the car at 1 month old, (a loudly clicking clutch pedal). The car went back to the garage twice when they lubricated the pedal, this did not cure the issue. The lady on the desk said they would try and fit a new spring on the second visit, when the car was collected she admitted they had just lubricated it again. The member of staff said that if we were to push further for a fix, it may involve large work such as a new master cylinder and was not sure if ford would cover it. From here we took the vehicle to Buckingham ford (who are linked with Bicester). The garage manager was very friendly, and also said their staff were master technicians. They looked at the car straight away and suggested the fault was probably one of two things. They had the car the following week and simply replaced a clutch spring in the drivers footwell, sorting the problem completely. So having experienced these two garages Buckingham ford appeared much more efficient than Bicester Ford at fixing a (simple) problem.
