ATC, Old Windsor, Berkshire

I attended this garage after it was recommended by a friend. I needed the front near side control arm replaced and had an ABS sensor issue on one of the rear wheels. I have always serviced and repaired my cars myself as a good garage is hard to find. Due to also having a baby and work commitments, I decided to let the garage do this job. On getting the car back I found it was still creaking going over speed humps. On checking the control arm I noticed they had bolted the old ball joint back on using the original 11 year old single use bolts. No local parts places sell incomplete control arms and they charged me £120 for a £30 part. I now have to fix their half job which will cost me money and time. If you do use this garage be very specific on what you want replacing other side they will rip you off. I will never use them again. I. Have been in contact with the garage by phone and email and they are not interested.

There are great folks to take your car to you will always get a good job done at a reasonable price. Over the years they been servicing and repairing our cars for various thing from a simple service to complex electrical and mechanical problems.

Good garage, nice guys. Quality is good, service is excellent, pricing is honest. I go to them when I need a repair or MOT.

I have used this garage for repairs and servicing for years and recommend without hesitation. Gary and his team have always been unusually helpful and straightforward, doing sound work. Never felt overcharged.

Paid £500 cash for repairs on 2 cars. Managed to blow up stereo in one and have refused to replace or reimburse . Mis diagnosed fault on second car and refused to rectify , left car abandoned in street with doors open flat battery and now un driveable . Left abusive and threatening voice mails . Avoid

Disgusting, do not use at any cost! They took 3 weeks to get our van running, 18 hours later broke down again. We gave them back the vehicle; 2 weeks later instead of phoning and getting the apprentices telling us over 20 times the owner was either picking up parts or returning vehicles and they would call back and never doing so we went over in person. The owner when questioned and having no answers got very belligerent and aggressive, told us to get the van off his premises, and laughed that he had our £780 and that we could do nothing about it. We had to push the van onto the road, and the following day get it taken by trailer to a new garage. AVOID!!!!!!!!!

I have been using ATC in Old Windsor for the past few years for my cars and motorcycle. They are trustworthy and never do more work than is necessary. Labour rates are very reasonable and work is carried out to a very high standard. All makes are catered for - my VW, Ford, Porsche and Kawasaki all receive the best of service whenever I need it. The garage is always busy - a good sign that plenty of other people know the benefits of their service.
