How can I clean oil from under my Volkswagen Golf's leaking engine?
My Volkswagen Golf has an engine oil leak, but the mechanic says he can't find the leak because there's too much oil. How should I clean it?
Garages have oil dispersant sprays and you can get dispersant sprays in rattle cans from Halfords. But I would not tackle this job yourself due to the danger of getting carcinogens in old oil onto your skin. If you DIY, be sure to wear a mask, goggles and surgical or other rubber gloves.
