How long should a bulb last on a car? Is it covered by the three-year/60,000 mile warranty? I have a Volvo V50 and the low beam offside bulb went off in May 2010. Now the nearside bulb has failed. The bulb cost £7 and £13 to change at a main dealer. Is there a more cost effective way of doing this, bearing in mind it is impossible to get your hands behind the bulb casing?
