Why are my front and rear jets struggling to pump screenwash?
I left the screen reservoir lid in my Volvo V40 D2 off overnight. The front and rear jets now have a struggle to pump screenwash. Pumps sound as if they are okay and the reservoir is clean. Any ideas?
The screenwash is pumped from the bottom of the tank. I guess something could have crawled in there and blocked the filter. Normally the pump and filter is a press-fit so if you can get at it you can pull it off and check. You might have to remove a wheelarch liner. But before you do any of this, first check that the tubes to the nozzles are not kinked in the bonnet hinge.
