Vauxhall Astra engine management light - what does it mean?
I need to sell my 2006 Vauxhall Astra, but the engine management light stays on all the time. It was mentioned on the MoT advisory, but it passed anyway. Any idea how I can fix it?
Likely to be a dirty lambda sensor. If it passed on MoT emissions then try a bottle of fuel system cleaner in the tank, and use only Super petrol. That might clean it up. These engines were also prone to coking up and if that's the problem there's a small change the fuel system cleaner will get rid of some of it.
