Power sounder on Vauxhall Meriva?
For a few months I have occasionally heard a high pitched alarm (not the usual horn alarm) being set off when I start the car - apparently this is the power sounder which is a back up to the main alarm. I want to remove it rather than replace (no one will try to steal a 2005 Meriva), but wonder where the power sounder is? I've read conflicting information as to whether it is behind the front or rear passenger wheel arch.
We believe it is located at the near side front wheel arch. As for the battery, is it now fully charged ,would not have thought it would effect just one door.
