Are you correct about the Hyundai ix35's service intervals?

I have just purchased a Hyundai ix35 CRDi 4x4 Premium which, according to the warranty booklet, must be serviced every 12 months or 12,500 miles. In your review of this car you said that the service interval was 12 months or 20,000 miles. This was also stated in several other trustworthy reviews that I read. As my mileage is about 18,000 per annum this will make a significant difference to the maintenance costs I expected. Neither of these figures are stated in any pre-sale Hyundai literature that I could find. Could you tell me where you got these figures from?
These figures would have been sourced from the press office. We'll check and make any changes if needed. The intervals of 12 months or 20,000 miles were published in good faith.
