Injectors on Citroen Xsara Picasso
My 2007 Picasso has done 120,000 miles. Every couple of months there is a problem with the oil. The mechanic says that due to the injectors possibly being faulty the oil container gets blocked and he needs to drain it and pour down some chemicals to unblock it each time. He says if the injectors are checked, and the faulty ones replaced, it should solve the problem. Is this correct?
Given the mileage the engine has done,(120,000) it would now be time for the injectors to be serviced. We would not go just changing them, however but have them removed and sent away for servicing.
