Do new Audi A4s use lots oil?
We are considering buying a new or almost new Audi A4 or Q5 with the 2.0 litre TFSI petrol engine, but are very scared by the reports of very high oil consumption. Is this still a problem?
From early 2014 the 2.0 TFSI engine that was prone to coking up its valves and using a lot of oil was replaced by a high tech EA888 engine that has direct and indirect injection and this should overcome the problems.
