Mercedes-Benz CL500 auto - do I really need to change the gearbox oil?
I own a 2009 Mercedes-Benz CL500. It has covered 35,000 miles from new and my local dealer inform me that the automatic gearbox oil and filter should be changed at this mileage at a cost of £303. Is this really necessary?
Very, very, very necessary. Some automatics like VW DSGs and Ford Poweshifts need this every 3 years.
