Peugeot 206 SW - when should I change the glow plugs?
I have a 2004 Peugeot 206 SW with a 2.0 HDi engine. It has 72,000 miles on the clock, mostly on long motorway trips, and has been maintained according to its schedule. Do you think it worthwhile changing the glow plugs and the oil feed and oil drain pipes to the turbo?
Definitely change the oil feed to and drain pipe from the turbo. And get into the habit of counting to 5 or even 10 before turning the key the final bit. That will give the glowplugs a chance to glow, and reduce the soot coming out of the exhaust on start-up.
