Should we keep or sell our Fiat Grande Punto?
My partner has had a 2006 Fiat Grande Punto for the past six years and it has given good service for more than 50,000 miles. Recently it has started to give problems with the brake and clutch. Now the steering column needs repairing providing a lumpy bill. Would you advise she sticks with it for a couple more years or sell?
The steering column power steering motor is prone to failure if full lock is used too often. Not a good idea to get it fixed then trade it in because the new PAS will probably last another eight years.
