This may seem almost like stating the obvious, but please can you remind all readers to check their headlights from time to time? At this time of year, both my husband and I see an alarming number of people driving merrily with either one headlight not working at all, or one so badly out of alignment that if it was a person and not a car, their optician would be prescribing glasses to correct an astigmatism. We have started to wonder if this is a national problem, or just more prevalent in North Devon.
