Is the interior light in our Nissan Qashqai flattening the battery?
I have a problem with the self-dimming interior light in my 2007 Nissan Qashqai 1.5dci. On numerous occasions we have discovered the battery flat after a weekend, and the dealer says diagnostic scans find nothing wrong, that all the electrical systems are shutting down properly and that we just need a new battery. But we are now on our third battery in 12 months.
The very simple way to find out is to switch the interior light off completely. If you no longer suffer a flat battery, then that was obviously the cause.
