Which diesel to replace my 2003 Mondeo with reasonable maintenance costs?
I am looking at changing my 2003 Ford Mondeo TDCi LX with 70,000 miles for something newer. Please suggest a suitable diesel replacement. I don’t want to lose too much size but would like something fractionally smaller. I have looked at some SAAB 9-3 1.9Ds but am worried about maintenance costs.
Renault Megane 1.6TDCI 130. That has the most advanced small diesel engine in the world in three versions - hatchback, station wagon or Scenic MPV. Or you can get the same engine in the Nissan Qashqai. Or wait for the very promising, ultra low emission Honda Civic 1.6iDTEC.
