Should I have a service done on my Skoda Fabia despite its low mileage?
I have a one-year-old Skoda Fabia that has done 650 miles and is now due for a one-year service. The garage has told me that I do not need get this done until advised by an indicator on the dashboard but we are concerned that the warranty on the car will be invalidated if the service is not carried out soon. If we do it before the dashboard notification, we will need to get this reset when it does appear. What can you advise?
Every car needs at least an inspection service every year, if only to make sure it is still safe. I would not be happy about running on the same oil contaminated by short runs from cold starts for two years.
