Does changing the pollen filter affect condensation?
We decided to have the pollen filter replaced on our 10-year-old Renault Scenic, after reading several times they would be the reason for the constant misting and condensation inside the windscreen. Like magic, we have no more condensation and even the heater works more efficiently now.
Quite a useful general point for all readers. Pollen filters should be replaced at least every two years and a soggy pollen filter is often a reason why condensation inside the car fails to clear, because no fresh air can enter.
