What coolant/anti-freeze to use in my car?

I own a 1994 Honda Civic, and I think I need to top up the coolant in the engine as the tank next to the radiator is hovering around the minimum level when the engine is cold. What type of coolant do I need to top it up with? It's a 1994 three-door 1.6 V-Tech - the one with the bi-fold tailgate.

Might be sensitive to the correct coolant, but neither I not you know what is in there. The wisest course of action would be to replace the coolant entirely because if it is the original it will have lost its anti corrosion properties.
