Belt or chain on my CR-V?
I too once had a BMW Isetta. Mine had four wheels but the back two were close together which made it very difficult to avoid the potholes in unsurfaced roads.
I now own an 02 reg Honda CRV. Can you tell me if my engine has a belt or chain drive to the cam shaft? If it's a belt drive I need to get it changed as I have now done 80,000 miles.
I do enjoy reading your replies to peoples questions.
The 02 CR-V got a chain cam petrol engine and is the most reliable CR-V of the lot. More reliable than the later diesel in the same body and more reliable generally than the Mk III CR-V.
