The service intervals on my 1.6 TDI Golf are quite long. According to the display it will require its first service at about two years. The car is now 12 months old and I am thinking of having an oil and filter change which you recommend. My question is whilst I will get the scheduled service carried out at the main dealer would there be any issues with the VW warranty to have the oil change done at my local garage?
