Mercedes-Benz servicing
I have just purchased a nine month old C180 auto and just wondered if what I have been advised to have servicing carried by Mercedes to protect future value of car by as much as five hundred pounds than if I had VAT registered independent garage carry out servicing. Price quoted by Mercedes for three services one interim and two majors is £972 on price plan including break down cover.
MB dealer servicing will make the car worth more to MB dealers in the future. But you could pay a dealer up front for a service plan and the dealer could then go bust, or sell the business or whatever.
