Does my two-year-old Ford Fiesta really need its brake fluid replacing?

When we bought my Fiesta two years ago we paid upfront for servicing. It is about to have its second service and my local Ford garage tells me that it is Ford policy to replace the brake fluid after two years, at a cost of £65 plus VAT. However, it is optional. The car has only done 13,000 miles. Obviously I want it to be safe, but is this really necessary? I would appreciate your advice.
Debatable. Standard brake fluid absorbs water and whether or not it needs replacing depends on how much water it has absorbed. This can be tested for.
