Maintaining a car for the long term
I have owned my four-year-old Berlingo Multispace 1.6hdi (old shape) from new and always had it serviced on time by Citroen. It has covered 50K miles, mainly long distance journeys, without any faults developing. What additional servicing should be done to help it remain reliable up to 150K miles? It doesn't have a DPF, nor I think a DMF.
Keep to annual, max 10,000 oil changes. Change the brake fluid. Run it on BP Ultimate diesel or Shell V-Power diesel. Will need a timing belt fairly soon.
