When to change the cam belt on a Ford Galaxy?
I have just purchased a S/H Galaxy. The only info I can find re changing the cambelt is at 125,000 miles/ 10 years. Surely that is too long to leave it?
Far too long. Presumably this is a 1.9 diesel with the VW engine. Needs changing at 60k miles together with tensioner and waterpump. If it's a 2.0 litre petrol, then that is chain cam and the chain should not need changing.
