Is my cam belt due a change?
My 2004 Volvo S80 2.0T Manual is nearly 7 years old and has done 61,000 trouble free miles. It is a lovely car to drive, especailly on long journeys. It is well out of its warranty period and I have it serviced by an independent Volvo specialist who recommends that I change the cam belt and tesnioners at the next service. It is an expensive job, would you concur with this advice or could I leave it for another year or two?
Extremely necessary with the 5 cylinder engine. Also needs tensioner, small pulleys and waterpump.
