How do I clean the windscreen washer bottle in my car?

I have a 2022 Ford Focus and the washer bottle appears to be blocked with gunge, but I can’t get access to it easily. I would have tried the hosepipe method but it is in a tight position under the bonnet on the left hand side.

If you are unable to use a hosepipe to clear the blockage, you may need to gain access to the bottle from underneath by removing the front wheel and the wheelarch liner. We would not advise adding any chemicals to the bottle as these may damage your paintwork.
