What do I need to do to my car if leaving it parked for six weeks?

I have a Volkswagen Golf 2.0 TDI and will be going abroad for between 4 to 6 weeks with my car parked on my driveway. No one else will be in the home when i'm away so I won't be able to trickle charge the battery. Would it make sense to inflate the tyres to say 5 PSI under their safe maximum pressure in order to safeguard against flat spots. Also is there anything that I will need to do in regards to the battery?
If you are only leaving it for 4 to 6 weeks we would (considering the battery is in good condition) just lock the car and leave it
