How can I update my SEAT Ateca's navigation map system?

I own a 2017 SEAT Ateca. I can't update the navigation system. I've owned the car since new and my local SEAT dealer cannot update the memory card. Are you aware of similar problems with SEAT models that need a new card rather than downloading updates via the internet?

There's quite a long-winded way of updating the system yourself, while as we understand it it is possible to purchase an updated SD card online. Have a look at online SEAT Ateca owners' forums as there are a number of third-party guides on this issue.
