When should I change the timing chain on my Honda Jazz?

I own a 2006 Honda Jazz. Can you tell me when the timing chain should be changed?
The chain is designed to last the life of the car. As long as the oil is kept clean and replaced every 12,000 miles or 12 months (whichever comes first) it should be fine.

Given the age of the car, it would be wise to have the chain checked at the next service. Damaged or worn chains usually make a rattling noise when they are problematic.
