Do I need to have my car serviced at a main dealer to keep the warranty?

I bought my Skoda Yeti from a main Skoda dealer. They insist I must have my servicing done by them or the warranty will be invalid. Is this true?

Yes, unless you can prove absolutely that any service carried out by anyone else was done precisely to Skoda standards using the correct fluids and parts and the correct diagnostics. To do that will require a far more detailed invoice then most independents can be bothered to supply you with.
