I've seen a car with 104k miles on it for sale for £1000, should I buy it?
I've seen a 2006 Peugeot 307 for sale for £1000. It has 104,000 miles on it. What do you think?
It's buttons money, but the car might need a lot doing to it: timing belt, tensioner, waterpump, aux belt; plus brakes, tyres, exhaust. Easy to spend at least another £1000 on it, which will be why it's so cheap in the first place.
