The ForTwo might make our list – but this far down most of the cars for £5000 are only average performers in the MoT test. Still, the pass rate for the ForTwo is just over 80 per cent, so only one in five fails its MoT test – and they most often fail on simple things like bulbs and reflectors
Based on mileage or age there are a few oddities. ForTwos with more than 80,000 miles on the clock have a slightly higher pass rate than the average across all cars with the same mileage.
