A garage should diagnose faults and check the outcome of repairs. A quote after inspection should be honoured. Get this garage to quote by email or in writing. The job was delayed by 2 days after the sent back the wheel bearings (required) and awaited a drive shaft (debatable). My suspicions were raised when the Service Reception diagnosed a drive shaft before inspection. Hence some caution required.

Had my mk1 rs focus in for a complex running fault had already been in a Ford dealer in Weymouth for days but were unable to cure the hesitation when driving wool and Bovington motors had the problem sorted in an hour.

This garage had my car a Ford Ghia Cmax TDCI 1.6 for a period of three months in order to rectify a starting problem. They simply were totally at a loss as to what the problem was. To cut a long saga short I eventually had the car removed from them & used it as a non running deposit £500.0 for a new car. The car eventually ended up with a small garage who resolved the problem & had the car for sale ( £2600 ) in a matter of 3 working days or 24 hours. W&B Motors Ltd had the audacity to charge me £300.0 for so called work they had done on the car. My advice to any one wishing to use this garage is keep well away unless the problem is a very simple one. I would not recommend them to anyone & certainly not a friend.
