had problem with my fuel injector they ordered and repaired the fault within a couple of days while most places where closed. great communication and very friendly people will be using again. thanks

Had my car to several garages to repair my power steering problem all failed and gave up at Westbere they managed to find the fault part and replace brilliant work

I have had near on perfect experiences with Westbere Garage in the past as they have always serviced my car and given its MOT. However on this occasion the service was shocking. My car was supposed to be picked up from my home, I called the garage at 13:00 as I hadn’t heard from them and my car wasn't in the books to be collected apparently. At this point this wasn’t an issue as I was told they would pick it up ASAP. I noted that the man who answered the phone was having his own conversation when he picked up the phone and this continued for a while as I was waiting to be acknowledged. The car was collected an hour and a half later by a delivery driver who spoke few words, was impolite, and disinterested. At this point it was 14:30, my MOT was booked for 14:00. I heard nothing until 17:20 when I was called again by the rude member of staff who informed me that the MOT ramp was broken and they needed to keep my car overnight so the MOT could be done in the morning. I explained this was not good enough as I had work the next day and I was told “can you not catch a lift from someone” ?!?! I demanded my car be returned at once and the man cut the phone off. Another phone call was made around 17:45 (15 minutes before they were due to close) to again find out where my car was and after getting cross with them I was told they are now doing the MOT as the ramp was miraculously fixed? The staff were very rude and when I tried to explain that I felt like they were taking advantage and providing a shocking service was told “look love we all want to go home so we will get this done quickly”. I did not pay for my MOT to be done quickly! I was told 15 minutes later that the car had passed and they would send the delivery driver back to me with my car (he turned up an hour or so later). Was so disappointed as normally book through Servicing Stop but decided to book directly with the garage (even though it costs more) because of their previous good service but I was upset that they messed me around and really did not care less about my inconvenience. Would sadly not recommend again.

Concerned about the security of my wife’s vintage Rover 75 exhaust system, I ‘phoned Westbere Garage at 10.00am yesterday. By 11 o’clock the car was on a ramp & the fault [ a clear MOT failure ] diagnosed. The steel strap supporting the rear Silencer had broken. By 12.00 noon it had been removed ( not the easiest job ! ), welded, painted, refitted and we were on our way home rejoicing. And the cost.? Less than half the price of a new, replacement strap - which wasn’t readily available anyhow. Brilliant, caring, professional service from an ‘old-fashioned’ Garage I heartily recommend. We took are Range Rover to them and there mechanic took it for a drive and said it wants a rear wheel bearing . So we left it with them, they rang to say they put a new rear bearing in but the noise was still there, so they then told us it was the rear differ than needs replacing and not the wheel bearing. As we have warranty they suggested we take it to a main dealer. When we picked the car up they wanted to charge us £240 for the wheel bearing even though it was there fault for wrong diognosis, after heated arguments we had to pay £120 to get our keys back, I recommend stay away from this garage as they will give you one price then add more on and they haven’t got a clue what they r doing .

I have used the Westbere MOT Centre just outside Canterbury for 18 months now and cannot recommend them highly enough.I have taken my cars there, 2 of them , along with my wife and daughters and i have always been impressed and satisfied with the service i received.I have found them to be honest and straight to deal with, and i would not go anywhere else to get my car repaired. In February this year i was selling my BMW so took it along for a check over and they said i needed to change front brake pads, this was done the next day, allowing me to sell my car 3 days later as planned. Good old fashioned friendly garage.
