"Hit and miss customer service"

Bought my SUV from here a short while back. The initial experience was lengthy but positive. 4 months after the purchase, the battery died, and I was told that I had to pay to replace it as it wasn't covered under the extended warranty. Unhappy with this response, the situation was resolved and the result was one I was happy with. However, collecting the courtesy car left a lot to be desired. Bad morning for staff maybe? Not sure, but nothing was explained about the car. I tried to call the lady back for questions. She was either oblivious to my requests or that bad day impacted on her customer service skills - not sure. Drove out feeling as though I'd stolen the car, not welcomed into taking it. Overall, I found that some staff members are friendly and professional whilst others don't display customer service skills well at all. This was clear when I returned the courtesy car and service was how I expected it to be (it just seemed to lack some consistency). It seems that the experience at this garage is hit and miss. Shame. Not sure what the culture of working there is like but the products they sell are mostly decent. You would think that would create some motivation for staff.
