Fantastic garage, the lads there really know what they are doing! My old mr2 wouldn't be running without them. They really look after both your cars and your wallets & are always willing to give advice. They've been spot on with my civic too

They know what they're talking about, conscious of the money side offering really good advice without charging. Will check out things before telling you whats wrong, and it was not a big list of "oh you need this and that". Genuine and trustworthy will be usimg them again. The garage is 6 miles as the crow flies takes me 15 mins in the Car and 1 hr by bus but worth it. The readon i took my Avensis to them was the car went into limp mode, lights flashing, they pit it on thr computer, no charge, and diagnosed DPF issue and told me to give it a blast on the motorway for 15 mins at high revs.... Perfect worked then i had mechanical issues i needed fixing anyway so they got all that and they did a great job ...

We have known Jo Haynes for many years. Jo Haynes is the most trustworthy mechanic We have ever encountered. Jo is old school and there is nothing he doesn’t know or can’t fix. No job is too small or too big. He used to be a Toyota mechanic before setting up on his own a long time ago. We never feel the need to quiz or ask for prices- we trust him 100% that his price will be as little as it needs to be. Jo is very careful in sourcing parts ensuring best value- certainly not opting for the first thing he comes across regardless of cost. Not many would bother in that respect . Dont be put off by location or appearances The garage is in the back of an old mill, Jo is an old timer biker( complete with the original look and proud of his motorbikes Involvement. Jo takes time to explain problems to you and freely gives his advice. He never pushes for work ( he doesn’t have to do as everyone who uses him always returns} nor will he press you into getting something replaced unnecessarily. Jo now has an assistant who appears to be taking on his mould and who again I feel most confident to have working on my vehicle. I rate this garage with 5 stars and recommend wholeheartedly.

Joe Haynes knows everything about Toyotas. ALL the Taxi drivers use this back street garage so I gave it a go. I'm very glad I did. My elderly Yaris had a clutch judder and after various quotes from £200 to £500 for clutch replacement I took the car to Toyotech. Joe turned it over, played with the gear shift, moved the car back and forth a few times and said "flywheel", "leave it with us". In 2 days they had removed and machined the warped flywheel, cleaned and adjusted the original clutch and while they were at it replaced a radiator bottom hose. The car now drives perfectly. The cost was outstanding at less than £100. Chatting to Joe, it appears he was a Toyota foreman who set up on his own decades ago. He prefers to fit genuine Toyota parts, new or used. He has stripped and rebuilt hundreds of car and motorbike engines. He is an old school diagnose and repair motortech.
