The poor reviews of one star are 2013/2015 and are not at all reflective of the new management ! The new owners are superb I have taken so far 3 vehicles to them for help and repair. One vehicle we decided it wasn’t worth repair and they didn’t charge despite spending at least two hours pricing parts and doing diagnostics. They have been unbelievably helpful to date and I will continue to use them

An old Citroen with a hydraulic leak? Well, I struggled to find anyone who wanted to touch it UNTIL I phoned VTS. Nicky answered the phone with a very positive manner. She passed the issue to James (the head mechanic) who agreed that it was certainly something they would be prepared to have a go at. I delivered the car on Maundy Thursday and they immediately put it on their ramp for an investigation (leaving pools of fluid on the floor and ramp!). I left it with them fearing the worse, but was surprised to receive a call at 19:30hrs that evening to say that the leak had been fixed and the car would be ready on the Tuesday after Easter - and so it was. All this for just £166. A bit thank you to the team at VTS

I went to get my car air conditioning serviced, but they were completely rude from the onset. Asked my to park my car which I did in their extremely tight parking upfront, then asked me to turn it around so it was easier for them (!??). Was told this would take an hour, came back to find the the A/c had been on full for half hour, so likely half the gas put in wasted already. They made me wait another 20 minutes as the mechanic failed to acknowledge me. Was pretty apalled by their attitude throughout.

Had an engine problem and was able to get booked in for the following morning. Diagnostics were carried out promptly, and I was then advised what needed doing, how much it would cost, and how long it would take. I returned an hour later to find my car ready to drive away, with the problem fixed (and tested) at a very reasonable price. They also fixed another small issue of some dangling cables at no extra cost. Really pleased with their professionalism.

Excellent Customer service, really friendly and made you feel welcome and not at all uncomfortable. I had my air conditioning done super quick and I'm returning for a service in a couple of weeks. I would highly recommend!

My car had developed a loud knocking noise when turning. I dropped it of with VTS to see if they could figure it out. When I picked it up I was told that it was just a "car noise" that id have to live with, then I was charged £30 as they took it for a "test drive". I paid the 30 quid then not happy with VTS diagnosis I took it to halfords who figured out what it was in about 3 minutes flat (exhaust was loose) they fixed it for me for £12! Less than half the price it cost me for VTS to tell me that id have to live with the noise!

VTS has serviced my cars for many years, providing good value and their thorough work has kept my last 3 cars on the road well past 200,000 miles.
