Very friendly staff with excellent service with loan car

I have known Volvotech and its owner Jim since 2006. Jim has a number of years Volvo experience before setting up his business. His colleagues are also very knowledgeable, mostly having worked for Volvo main dealerships before. The garage has all Volvo diagnostic equipment and uses only genuine Volvo parts. So, in a nutshell, you get at least the same level of service as at the main dealership, for less than half the price. Then, of course you have the added benefit of personal service and continuity. You always talk to the same people whom you know and trust and they know your car inside out. My 2001 Volvo V40 2.0T has always been maintained by Volvotech. As a result, it is in excellent condition, utterly reliable and, at 110000 miles barely halfway through its useful life. No reason to replace it any time soon! One other great thing about Jim & his team is their support for charities. My friend and I drove a classic 1962 Skoda Octavia from Prague to Gosport in aid of a local special needs nursery. We have raised a considerable sum of money and are hoping to increase it by selling the Octavia (all proceeds going to the nursery). Jim and his colleagues have done all the MOT work, incl. welding and MOT itself "on the house"! Do I need to carry on?

I have been taking my Volvo V40 2.0T (2001 Y-reg) to Volvotech since I bought it in 2006. Volvotech is a superb garage with friendly, totally trustworthy owner and staff who know Volvos inside out. As far as I know, all members of the team have Volvo training and many years of experience. The garage uses Volvo specialist tools, diagnostic devices and original Volvo parts.The result is that customers get at least the same level of service as in the main dealership, plus the continuity (you always talk to the same people which is great) for a fraction of the price. My Volvo has been superbly maintained and remains 100% reliable with 111000miles on the clock - well, I have been given just as reliable courtesy V40s with 200000+ miles on several occasions! There is another great thing about the Volvotech team: They do a lot of charity work, including doing up a 1962 Skoda Octavia which my friend a I drove from Prague as a fundraising event for the Haven Children's Centre ( a lovely nursery supporting children with special needs). They are doing all the work "on the house"! The Octavia will then be sold and all proceeds will go to the Haven Children's Centre. Would I recommend Volvotech? YES, ANY TIME!
