Volvotech is a superb independent garage which has been maintaining my Volvo V40 2.0T (2001 Y-reg) since I bought the car in 2006. The owner and staff are most helpful, completely trustworthy and they know Volvos inside out. Everyone working at Volvotech has Volvo training and many years of experience. They use Volvo specialist tools, diagnostic devices and original Volvo parts. The result is that you get at least the same standard of service as in the main dealership for a fraction of the price. One extra advantage is the continuity, as you always talk to the same people. My Volvo has been superbly maintained and remains 100% reliable at 111000miles. But then, I was given equally reliable V40s with 200000+ miles as courtesy cars on several occasions! Another great thing about the Volvotech team is that they do a lot of charity work. That includes doing up a 1962 Skoda Octavia which my friend and I drove from Prague as a fundraising event for the Haven Children's Centre, an excellent nursery supporting children with special needs. Thery are doing all the work "on the house"! The Octavia will then be sold and all proceeds will go the the Centre. So, the decision between Volvotech and main dealership is easy: Volvotech every time! Mirek Synek
