My wife's Audi A3 2.0TDi 2 door S-Line went in for it's 12 month service about 2 weeks ago. It was new in May 2013 and has only done 2K miles. The quoted cost for this service was £199 and was carried out to our satisfaction. However on the way back from the garage a warning light came on which indicated the bonnet hadn't closed properly. Why would this not be picked up test driving the car after the service ? Still waiting for an answer from Audi Teesside. The main complaint was however over a repair to the front nearside alloy wheel which I had caught on my kerb at home. Nothing too bad but once you know it's there.................No problem as they sold me an insurance for £200 which covered the cost of repairing small damages to the alloys.When I went to pick the car up however I was told the technician couldn't repair this type of alloy as it had a sheen to it !!! So as it stands Teesside Audi have sold me a policy which is useless as they cannot repair the type of alloy that's on the car, even though it was purchased from them new in May 2013 with those alloys on them.After 10 days still awaiting a reply. You couldn't make it up could you ?
